The water is pumped from the borehole 'Dichalorimata' in Stylos, which has been in ETANAP’s possession; once filtered, it is proceeding on bottling lines.
The water table is at a depth of 150-180 meters South. SW of Stylos village, in the foothills of the Lefka Ori. The water is ascended through static pressure at 50 meters below the surface, at which the withdrawal is made. The drilling is manufactured under strict specifications for a water bottling factory use only (stainless steel pipes, isolation from the surrounding environment and the human factor).
The water transfer to the plant is made in a fair manner through stainless steel pipes. Then, it is filtered by two arrays of filters, without being subject to chemical treatment or exposure to radiation for consolidation, thus it is maintaining the natural character intact and physicochemical characteristics.
The company has 4 automated lines for bottling water:
1. At the first line, the water is bottled in PET type bottles of 0,5, 1,5 and 0,75 lt with a production capacity of 11,000 bottles per hour.
2. The second line is used for bottling 1 lt glass bottles as well as for bottling carbonated water in glass bottles 0, 33 lt. The production capacity of this line is 6,000 bottles per hour.
3.The third line is used for bottling the natural water SAMARIA in PET bottles of 5 and 10 lt. The production capacity of this line is around 12,000 per hour.
4. In 2008, within the framework of the development of ET.AN.AP. SA the installation of a new production line using advanced technology has completed. The new production line is used to bottle PET bottles of 0.5, 0.75, 1 and 1,5 lt and the capacity amounts to 18,000 per hour. The company is certified for the Quality Systems & Food Safety according to the International Standards ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 22000:2005. The quality of our product is ensured through the rigorous checking procedures.
The water bottling is done under modern production lines, Combi type throughout its range, which excludes a human intervention. Initially, we have the preform configuration in the bottle. In the next step, the cups are disinfected with the use of UV radiation while crossing tunnel; they are heated to 115°C approximately and they are formed in molds while they are blown with sterile air. In the final stage we have the bottling and the capping.
As the end bottle comes out of the enclosed space, the product code and expiration date are recorded, the label is affixed and finally, it is packed and driven to the warehouse.
